Reports by the domestic intelligence services, or being surveilled unknowingly, can lead to the cancellation of public events or have severe consequences on people’s citizenship applications, freedom of movement, and residency status. Observation by intelligence services is unrelated to the legal status or legal conduct of a group or individuals, but being listed further delegitimises Palestine solidarity groups, isolating them and hindering support to their mission.
