Join us for a talk with Patrick Bond on the roots of the BDS for Palestine in the struggle against the South African Apartheid
Patrick Bond is a political economist, environmentalist and activist who worked as an adviser to the African National Congress (ANC) and of the Palestinian BDS campaign. He was active in Germany and organized a successful financial boycott against the South African apartheid in Berlin. We will discuss with Patrick the past and present complicity of Germany with settler colonial projects, the effectivity of boycott campaigns and the practical aspects of organizing them in Germany.
