Stop feeding Genocide – Boycott Gila & Nancy

IJAN GERMANY STATEMENT ON ZIONIST RESTAURANT OPENING

In May 2025, the fraudulent U.S. led organization, “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” entered Gaza under the guise of administering aid to the starving, besieged population. Since then, over 800 starving Palestinians have been executed in cold blood at GHF sites via barbaric daily massacres, while countless others have been subject to injury and degrading treatment.

The former spokesperson of the GHF, Shahar Segal, an Israeli restaurateur and businessman, will soon open a restaurant in Berlin boasting dining and drag performances. This is a deeply disturbing use of pinkwashing, the instrumentalization of queer and trans identities and communities to distract or justify from Israel’s 77 years of war crimes and genocide of Palestinians, particularly during Pride Month.

We say:

No to war criminals, genocidaires and those proudly profiting off of the Holocaust in Gaza in our cities.

No to the cynical weaponization of other marginalized and oppressed communities for propaganda.

No to meals served by those with blood dripping from their hands.

“Gila and Nancy” is set to open on Friday, 18 July. We encourage all to mobilize to the protest “STOP FEEDING GENOCIDE!” on Wednesday 16 July at 19:00, Mohrenstraße 30.
