Bay Area Women in Black: International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People

Dear Friends of BAWIB,
Today [Nov 29], “Black Friday” in San Francisco, California, USA, saw a convergence of groups calling for a boycott of specific products made on Palestinian lands illegally occupied by Israel, and for an end to the occupation. The day also coincided with the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People and with the National Days of Action to Stop SodaStream. Bay Area Women in Black are grateful for co-sponsors and allies, including BDS-Berlin; Frauen in Schwarz, Wien; Jewish Voice for Peace; Sabeel; Students for Justice in Palestine (UC-Berkeley); Vrouwen in het Swart, Leuven; and Women in Black, Berkeley, Knoxville (TN), and London.
